A tour to New Zealand is to realise the wonder of the country. A land of dramatic contrasts and spectacular natural beauty, over a quarter of the country's land area is national, park, offering pristine wilderness. There has never been a better time to visit this diverse fantasy land of dramatic mountains and forested valleys, majestic ice floes and glacial lakes, dormant volcanoes and bubbling springs. Doubling for Middle Earth in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the magical world beyond the wardrobe in the Chronicles of Narnia, New Zealand is also proving itself one of the undoubted stars of the screen.
England cricket tour to IndiaNovember 2008
England will be eager to improve on their challenging Test Match tour of 2006 which was drawn 1 -1 when England squared the series in the third and final match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The win was sealed in a spectacular Indian batting collapse orchestrated by an inspired spell of bowling by Shaun Udal. His spin twin, Monty Panesar, wrapped up the match and the series with a fine catch at deep mid off from a towering hit by Mahendra Dhoni.
To anyone with a spirit of adventure, a cricket tour of India presents a mind changing experience. A land of diversity, India has a magic borne of its eclectic social and ethnic society, changing landscapes and a profusion of inherited customs and architecture from civilisations ancient and modern. Awe inspiring temples and palaces co-exist with the abundant and later inheritances of the British Raj.
